COVID-19 Precautions

Classroom Precautions


  • Social Distancing:
    • Students and Instructors will maintain a minimum social distance of 6ft 
    • Social Distancing signs will be posted in prominent locations in the class.

 

  • Face Masks 
    • Face Masks are required by all persons participating in the class
    • Face Mask signs will be placed in prominent locations in the class and at the entrance to the building


  • Hand washing 
    • Reminder signs will be placed on the doors entering the restrooms
    • Two hand sanitizing stations will be available at Registrar table


  • Gloves:
    • The instructor and/or assistant will wear gloves while handling student materials. 


  • Tables / Chairs:
    • Will be cleaned and sanitized in the beginning, and at the end of each class. 


  • Classroom Material
    • The following classroom material will be placed in bags 1 week prior to class:
      • Books
      • Registration forms
      • pencil
      • pen
      • highlighter
      • test answer sheets


  • Registration forms and Waivers
    • Will be filled out by the student during the first few minutes of the class. 
    • Upon completion of the NJSP registration form and waivers - they will be returned to the instructor for ID verification.


  • Testing
    • Test answer sheets will be distributed in the morning in the classroom packet. 
    • The test questions will be distributed at the test time. 
    • Once the tests are completed the students will return the test questions and answer sheets to the instructor / grading location. 


At the conclusion of the course all materials will be placed in an envelope for a 7 day decontamination wait period prior to being input into the NJSP database.

Proctoring COVID Precautions

    • Will be filled out by the student during the first few minutes of the class.

  • Testing
    • Once the tests are completed the students will return the test questions and answer sheets to the instructor / grading location. 
    • Students will be handed a questionnaire for completion while the test is graded.

  • Gloves:
    • The instructor and students will wear gloves throughout the course.


  • Tables, Chairs, and hard surfaces:
    • Will be cleaned, and wiped down throughout the day, and when operators change. 


  • Classroom Material
    • The following classroom material will be distributed prior to class:
      • Class book
      • Pencil / Pen / Highlighter
      • Waivers
