Public - On-The-Water Training

Maybe you are new to the hobby and are curious if boating is right for you? Maybe you have ordered a pontoon boat and you want to know how to operate it before you buy it? or Maybe you plan to rent a pontoon boat on your next vacation, Which ever the reason we can teach you how to Dock, launch, turn, or pilot our boat at any of our scheduled public OTW classes.

Our public classes begin and end at the top of the ramp, not in the water but on the asphalt. Our curriculum ensures that every minute of the 3 hour training class involves a learning moment.

Since this is a Public class there up to 4 seats available for students.

To begin your learning adventure it is advised to Begin with the OTW 001 series, and progress up.

Course Schedule

Each of the four course modules is approximately 4 hours long, but time length may vary depending on the age and boating experience of the student.

Public Courses:

Are offered on our floating classroom, a 24ft pontoon boat. These courses are offered as scheduled below.

Private Courses:

can be taught on your boat anywhere throughout NJ, Easters PA, Long Island Sound, and surrounding areas.

Vessel

Our Public courses are taught on our a 24ft pontoon boat classroom. This platform provides the student with an excellent learning opportunity.

*This course can only be taught by a NSBC Certified Instructor. .
*This is NOT a certification program.

*State issued Boating Safety Cert or proof that you previously completed a NASBLA course is Required

*State issued Automotive drivers license Required

*No Experience required

*Min Age - 16yrs for Operator
